Deposit Free
160’s Very specific formulation of oxidation resistant paraffinic oils, dispersants and detergents ensure all the components are of the highest purity. This prevents the formation of sludge, varnish and gum as normal naphthenic or asphaltic based transmission fluids can in service.
Multi Use
Mainlube 160 is a multi application power fluid, (normally 2 or more lubricants would be required to service the range of equipment that Mainlube 160 maintains).
This gives Mainlube 160 further advantages of; Reducing inventory.
Reduction of storage space. Avoiding misapplication.
Oxidation and Corrosion
Automatic transmissions and other hydraulic equipment are subjected to extended service intervals at elevated temperatures. In these applications 160’s is inertness to all metals prevents damage to silver, copper and soldered joints. It’s specially designed anti-oxidants prevent corrosion, rust and scale formation.
Prevention of Seal Damage
The high heat produced in hydraulics and transmissions chemically damage and shorten oil seal life, Mainlube 160’s formulation ensures no seal damaging chemistry is present.
Anti Wear Package
Mainlube 160’s formulation incorporates the latest developments in anti wear packages, this provides maximum service life from hydraulic vane and piston pumps, power steering and transmission units.
