Acute:

Swallowed: Solvent, Harmful if swallowed, However, GRAS, (generally regarded as safe) by FEMA, Approved for use as food flavour by FDA.

Skin: May cause drying and irritation to sensitive skin. Eyes: Will cause eye irritation if directly contacted. Inhaled: Vapour can be an irritant to mucous membranes and respiratory tract.

Chronic: None when used with good personal hygiene practices. May cause skin irritation upon prolonged or repeated contact.
