HEALTH EFFECTS:

Acute:

Swallowed: Can be Toxic by Ingestion, burns to the mouth and throat, pain in the stomach, difficulty in breathing, nausea, if symptoms occur seek Medical assistance.

Skin: Concentrated solutions can cause burns if not immediately rinsed off. Temporary Irritant to Skin.

Eyes: Mists may be temporary Irritant to eyes, splashes in eyes can cause burns and if unattended permanent damage

Inhaled: Vapour or mist may cause irritation to throat or nose.

Chronic:

FIRST AID:

Swallowed: Rinse mouth thoroughly with water thoroughly. Give water to drink. Do not induce vomiting, get medical attention.

Skin: Avoid direct contact, use impervious gloves. Immediately flush any contaminated skin areas with running water, under water remove all contaminated clothing shoes etc, wash all affected clothing before reuse. If symptoms appear obtain medical attention.

Eyes: Immediately irrigate with copious quantity of water for at least 30 minutes. Eyelids to be held open. Obtain medical attention.

Inhaled: Remove victim from exposure, Allow patient to assume most comfortable position and keep warm. Seek medical attention.

Treat symptomatically based on judgement of doctor and individual reactions of patient.
